I. LOU was founded by a born-and-raised Angolan entrepreneur and designer, Indira Lourenço, upon her graduation in the Big Apple. Indira custom furniture has been featured in established publications like Interior Design Magazine, Surface Magazine, Modern Luxury Magazine, as well as in Angolan news media. Indira has also been invited to major exhibitions in Paris, London, New York, and Miami. Indira won the 2017 Excellence for Young Designers Award from ANGOSIANA – Association of Angolans in Louisiana and was recently nominated for the 2018 ASID National Awards.
