Caluco LTL & Small Shipment Policy
All commercial and residential customers are required to check shipments immediately for possible damage during shipping. Caluco cannot be held responsible for any damage to merchandise. The National Claims Council regulations specify that the consignee must:
- Inspect shipment for possible damage. If there is the slightest doubt that the merchandise is damaged (concealed or not), have the driver mark all copies of the freight bill “damaged”, and sign them.
- Where damage is, or may exist, consignee (the receiver) should accept shipment (as above) and immediately phone delivering carrier requesting carrier inspection, Uncrate merchandise within 24 hours and save packaging for inspection. If damaged, immediately notify delivering carrier.
- Consignee must initiate and submit all claims to carrier company. Manufacturer, Caluco, cannot make a claim. Please inspect unit immediately to ensure shipment is complete. Claims for missing parts cannot be honored if claim is made more than 24 hours after delivery.
Custom Cushion Policy
Orders for and orders that include custom cushion usually ship in 2 to 3 weeks but we can run into delays. Due to these unforeseen delays during the manufacturing process, orders will be shipped complete once the cushions are available. Orders for custom cushions may only be canceled or changed within 24 hours of order confirmation. All custom cushions are unable to be returned due to the fact that they are CUSTOM MADE.
The cushions are not waterproof. If they are left unattended in heavy rain conditions the foam will absorb water. Please store all cushions in a dry environment, when not in use.
For all custom cushions that are not for Caluco furniture and replacement cushions; the customer is responsible for supplying Caluco with all the measurements and cushion specifications.
If you get your furniture and do not like the color, quality or if it was not what you were expecting, you may return it for a refund less 25% restocking fee and return shipping costs. Returns will be accepted only if you notify us within 3 days of our items being delivered. A refund will be equal to the price of your order less 25% restocking fee and all actual return shipping charges incurred to get the items back to our warehouse. You will be responsible for our actual return full shipping cost and not the discounted rate or free shipping rate in the even t of a return . Returns will only be accepted and credits issued if the order is in new condition with no damage and in the original packaging when it arrives back to our warehouse. If an order is refused with no damage or without an authorization number, you will be charged 25% restocking fee + all return shipping costs we incur to get hte items from your shipping address. Return Policy does not apply to clearance items, special orders, and custom orders.
Our Company reserves the right to change the terms, conditions and notices under which our products are offered. You are responsible for regularly reviewing these terms and conditions.
